Jeffrey Kreulen is a software engineer and researcher at the IBM Almaden Research Center in San Jose, California. He holds a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics (computer science) from Carnegie-Mellon University, a master's degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in computer engineering (also from Penn State). Since joining IBM in 1992, he has worked on multiprocessor systems design and verification, operating systems, systems management, web-based service delivery, and integrated text and data analysis. His most recent work has been in the development of eClassifier and BIKM technology and applying this technology in customer scenarios.
Kreulen has received an Outstanding Technical Achievement Award for his contributions to eClassifier and its application in services. He holds five patents, and has published extensively in conferences and journals.
