I am a Research Staff Member at IBM India Research Lab, New Delhi. I received my B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and my M.S(R) from IIT Delhi (both in CS).
I work in the broad area of IT Infrastructure Resource Optimization. My research interests include algorithmic optimization, web server resource allocation, storage and most recently power management.
Selected Publications:
1. Power Management: In this project, we have worked on an Operational Analytics (Runtime) tool and a Transformational Analytics (Planning) tool for power management of data centers. In addition to developing the algorithms for the tool, we needed to build models for power and impact of virtualization. Some of our key results can be found in
