About me

Desktop programming-by-demonstration
Research lab: Watson Research Center (Hawthorne)
My research interests focus on making computer systems more usable by providing user-interfaces and visualizations that are well adapted to particular tasks. My current project, Personal Wizards, is developing tools to aid in collaborative capture and use of procedural knowledge. Previously I have worked on developing tools for assisting developers of multi-device applications (the HOPI project), and on content-based image retrieval tools (the SPIRE project).
