I am a Senior Researcher at IBM Research - India (New Delhi), which I joined in February 2001. My current focus is in business-process driven services optimization. My research interests are:
* by application areas: services (business processes, middleware/web services, infrastructure), societal domains
* by techniques: planning & scheduling, information management (text, semantic web), policies, learning.
I have additional background in autonomic computing, data integration (bio-informatics, e-commerce) and electronic design automation from previous projects/jobs. At IBM Research, I have done significant stints at T.J.Watson Research Center in Hawthorne, NY, USA; and at IBM Research - India (Bangalore).
