Research lab: Watson Research Center (Yorktown)

I joined IBM in 1998 to work on user-level messaging for cluster systems. Soon thereafter I joined the BlueGene hardware group, where I contributed to the architecture of the BlueGene/L system, and co-designed its collective network. I continue to work on many aspects of BlueGene systems. I received a PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University in 1996, a MA in Computer Science from Princeton University in 1991, and a BEE from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1986.
