Chieko Asakawa


Research lab: Tokyo Research Lab


I joined IBM Tokyo Research in 1985. Since then I have conducted research and development on nonvisual computer interfaces for the blind, including Home Page Reader in 1997. I received Ph.D in the Department of Engineering, University of Tokyo in 2004. I am a member of ACM, IEICE, HIS and IPSJ and a member of IBM Academy of Technology.
