Xiaodong Cui received the B.S. degree (with highest honors) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, in 1996, the M.S. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 1999 and the Ph.D degree from University of California, Los Angeles,in 2005, all in electrical engineering. From 2005 to 2006, he worked as a research staff member at DSP Solutions R&D center of Texas Instrument in Dallas, Texas, focusing on noise robust issues for embedded speech recognition systems. Since 2006, he has been a research staff member at Human Language Technologies, IBM T. J. Watson research center at Yorktown Heights, New York. His research interests include speech recognition (particularly noise robustness and speaker adaptation), digital speech processing, statistical signal processing, and pattern recognition.
