I am a Technical Staff Member in IBM India Research Lab at Bangalore. I joined IRL in May 2006 right after completing my MTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where my thesis advisor was Dr. Deepak Khemani. I completed my undergraduate engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Model Engineering College, Ernakulam, Kerala where my project advisor was Prof. Jyothi John. My research interests include data mining, machine learning and fields related to databases. Currently, I am part of the Knowledge Management Group led by Raghu Krishnapuram at IRL-Bangalore.
I am native of the coastal city of Ernakulam (Kochi) in the southern state of Kerala. Further, I should include here that I am an ardent fan of malayalam movies and literature and that the former is what I consider an ideal break from work. I did my schooling with the FACT Udyogamandal School, Eloor, Ernakulam.
