Mr. Deen joined IBM in 1989. He is a researcher and the OptimalGrid project leader at the IBM Almaden Research Center. His current work is in the areas of distributed computing and healthcare informatics. In the past he has been involved in such areas as data visualization, distributed storage, and distributed security policy and architecture.
