Ms. Heng (Harriet) Cao is a manager in the Business Analytics and Mathematical Science department at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, where she manages a team of software engineers to develop innovative business intelligence applications.
Since she joined IBM Research in 2001, Harriet has been a lead developer and key contributor for several enterprise decision support systems. Prior to that she was attending Computer Science School at Carnegie Mellon University with research focus on AI for manufacturing. Harriet received her M.S. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000. She also holds M.S. and B.S. in Control from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1998 and 1995.
