Jeffrey Kreulen is a software engineer and researcher at the IBM Almaden Research Center in San Jose, California. He holds a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics (computer science) from Carnegie-Mellon University, a master's degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in computer engineering (also from Penn State). Since joining IBM in 1992, he has worked on multiprocessor systems design and verification, operating systems, systems management, web-based service delivery, and integrated text and data analysis. His most recent work has been in the development of Business Insights Workbench technology and applying this technology in customer scenarios.
Dr. Kreulen has received Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards for his contributions to Business Insights Workbench and eClassifier and their application in services. He holds ten patents, and has published extensively in conferences and journals.
