I am a Research Staff Member at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. In May 2007, I graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where I worked with Prof. Ling Liu on secure distributed systems. Earlier in 2002, I graduated with a bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras.
My research interests broadly lie in the field of secure and scalable distributed systems. My work focuses on developing integrated systems and security solutions that address application specific security requirements while preserving its performance and scalability. In the past, I have developed algorithmic techniques and scalable security tools in the form of composable and customizable plug-ins for existing distributed systems such as: VoIP Networks and Publish/Subscribe Networks.
