Mayank Sharma

I work in the Mathematical Sciences Department and am part of the Probabilistic Analysis and Optimization group. We apply methods and tools from applied probability and optimization to problems arising in complex systems such as business organizations and stochastic processing networks.

More generally, I have a broad background and interest in:

• Probabilistic Algorithms, Combinatorial/Stochastic Optimization and Information Theory
• Design and analysis of algorithms for Networks, Switches and Queuing systems
• Digital Communication Systems - Signal Processing algorithms, Coding schemes
