Dr. Mary Yvonne Lanzerotti is a Research Staff Member (VLSI Design Department) at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. She received an A.B. degree (summa cum laude) from Harvard University in 1989, a M.Phil. degree from University of Cambridge in 1991, an M.S. degree from Cornell University in 1994, and a Ph.D. degree from Cornell University in 1997, all in physics. She joined IBM in 1996. Her research interests include the design of on-chip interconnections and analysis of timing-critical paths in high-performance microprocessors for IBM servers. Dr. Lanzerotti is a member of the IEEE-Solid State Circuits Society, IEEE–Lasers and Electro-Optics Society, IEEE Women in Engineering, American Physical Society, and Phi Beta Kappa. She is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
