U.S. Patent No. 7,346,470. Filed 6/2003. Issued Mar. 18, 2008.
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for assessing a probability of failure of operation of a semiconductor wafer. The method includes inputting risk factor data into a memory and inputting a plurality of wafers into a semiconductor fabrication manufacturing process. A subset of wafers is selected to obtain a sample population and at least one region of each wafer of the sample population is inspected. Circuit design data associated with each wafer of the sample population is obtained and one or more defects that present an increased risk to the operation of a a particular wafer are identified. The identification is a function of the risk factor data, the inspecting step and the circuit design data. A probability of semiconductor wafer failure is calculated.
U.S. Patent No. 7,260,810. Filed 10/2003. Issued August 21, 2007.
Abstract: A method for analyzing circuit designs includes discretizing a design representation into pixel elements representative of a structure in the design and determining at least one property for each pixel element representing a portion of the design. Then, a response of the design is determined due to local properties across the design.
U.S. Patent No. 6,628,333. Filed 11/1997. Issued September 30, 2003.
Abstract: In an illustrative embodiment, an instant camera is provided which includes an imager for receiving an image of an object to be photographed. The imager outputs a signal corresponding to the received image, and a memory device stores the signal. A printer prints instant film photographs corresponding to received or stored images, and has the capability to print at least one image on a single piece of instant film. A preview unit has at least one display for displaying an image corresponding with the imager, the memory device, the printer, and the preview unit, controls the transfer of the signal from the images to the memory device, from the memory device to the printer, and from the memory device to the preview unit.
