I received my Ph.D. from Brown University in 2000. My research interest is in natural langugage processing. I joined the Natural Language Technology group of IBM research in June 2000. During the first year and a half, I worked on various projects such as conversational dialogue systems and a multi-modal system that incorporates voice technology and various NLP technologies such as parsing and email mining. I've been working on Statistical Machine Translation since late 2001. I've been mainly focusing on model building.
