Omer Tripp has worked for IBM Corporation since November 2007. Omer is a member of the static analysis group at IBM Rational's Security Products Department. He is engaged in research and development in the areas of Static Program Analysis for Security and Language-based Security, with emphasis on Web-application security. As part of his research activities, Omer maintains a strong collaboration with colleagues from the
Programming Languages and Software Engineering Department at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Hawthorne, New York.
He has filed patents and published papers in the area of Program Analysis for Security, as well as in other fields of computer science.
Omer received his M.Sc. in computer science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel in January 2009, with a thesis entitled Exploration in the Dark: Reasoning about Planning Strategies (advisor: Prof. Jeffery S. Rosenschein). His research interests include static program analysis of object-oriented languages, multi-agent systems and probability theory.
