Dan assists the Collaborative User Experience (CUE) Research Group with new technology, both hardware and software, from selection to installation and configuration. He is also involved with network-oriented projects, which include LAN, WAN, and telephony. Recent interests are wireless networking (802.11), Voice Over IP (VoIP), and research into the use of video conferencing as a collaborative tool. Dan's 2004 project was the study of a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) System. Dan has managed the Innovation/Research Lab at Lotusphere since 2001.
