Sivan Sabato

Machine Learning Researcher

Research Lab: Haifa Research Lab



I am a Machine Learning researcher in the Machine Learning and Constraint Satisfaction Group at IBM Haifa Research Laboratory, where I research applications of Machine Learning to failure detection and prediction in computer systems, and lead the Melody project. I also do research in statistical learning theory.

I am also a PhD candidate at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. My advisor is Prof. Naftaly Tishby.
I am a graduate of the Hebrew University (B.Sc.) and of the Technion, Haifa (M.Sc.), where I've done research in computational semantics of natural languages.
