If you are still on this web site, then i've succeded in getting you hooked on. :) So let more throw some more historical and current stuff about me.. I hail from the Pinkcity of India - Jaipur, the capital of the western Indian state of Rajasthan. I grew up in Jaipur and did most of my schooling (St. Xavier School, Jaipur) and my Bachelor of Engineering (Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur) while staying in the cozy comfort zone of my parents.:) My school had a great influence on me in my formative years and I had a great time there. I moved to the United States of America in 1999 for my Masters at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. I worked under Dr.Manish Parashar in the The Applied Software Systems Laboratory at Caip Center, Rutgers University. After my graduation, I worked for a small company - Fusion Technologies in New Jersey for a few months, before joining Morgan Stanley, New York in February 2002. Commuting every day from sleepy New Jersey to New York - the city that never sleeps, was interesting, to say the least. :) In June 2003, home came calling again and couldn't resist the temptation to come back to India when offered a position at the IBM India Research Laboratory, New Delhi.
I am a keen sportslover and played tennis for my state at Sub-Junior and Junior levels. I also represented my College and was the general captain of my college in my final year. I also love to play cricket and basketball. I started playing squash when I was in the US and have started playing it more often than tennis. I also had a brief go at swimming and roller blading. When I am not playing with a computer or a racket or a bat, I am either watching TV or a movie in a theatre.
