Chen Wang has been working at IBM Research China (CRL) since 2005. He has over 6 years research experience in the extended database technologies with the last 3 years focused on RDF data management. He has specialized in RDF storage, index and querying, graph index, frequent graph mining, graph clustering, master data management, database, and semantic web.
He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Fudan University in 2005. Meanwhile, he won the CCF (China Computer Federation) best doctorial dissertation award (2006), where 7 Ph.D. from premium universities in China shared this honor. He has published more than 20 publications in the areas of database, semantic web, and data mining, which including the premium conferences like SIGMOD, VLDB, WWW, SIGKDD, and ISWC.
