Guo Tong Xie is a Research Staff Member in IBM China Research Lab. In 2003, Guo Tong Xie joined IBM China Research Lab after getting his master degree in computer science at Xi'an Jiao Tong University. During the past years, he played a key role in the research activities around Semantic Web technologies and drove the adoption of these technologies by open source community, industry standards, IBM software products and world wide research teams. He is leading the team to research on applying Semantic Web technologies into Information Integration and Metadata Management areas.
