Greetings and welcome to the home page of the Bioinformatics and Pattern Discovery group at IBM's Computational Biology Center.
The group is part of IBM's Deep Computing Institute, an organization within IBM Research with the goal of coordinating, promoting and advancing activities in Deep Computing.
Our efforts are focused on the use of computational techniques to solve problems from molecular biology. A large percentage of our work revolves around various aspects of the problem of pattern discovery and the application of this category of methods to solve problems from the biological context.
