This project is looking at a variety of secure identity tokens, such as electronic passports, electronic visas, and electronic building access cards. Important issues are the security of the cards, the cryptographic authentication protocoles, and protection of the stored information and biometrics from unauthorized access.
Privacy and prevention of identity theft are critical goals.
