Genes@Work requires a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) installed in your system. The JVM must support Java 2. Run the command "java -version" on your system to figure out the level of your Java installation. It is possible to run this code on Unix/Linux and Apple McIntosh platforms if the right version of Java is installed.
