The Infrastructure Resource Optimization (IRO) group focuses of various apsects of resource optimization and is at present most deeply involved in optimizing the energy consumed in data centers through power aware static and dynamic server consolidation. We are also interested in theoretical and experimental expressions of an application's resource consumption profile and on using such analysis to investigate improvements for the next generation of middleware and applications.
