Project Kittyhawk: A Global-Scale ComputerProject Kittyhawk’s goal is to explore the construction and implications of a global-scale shared computer capable of hosting the entire Internet as an application. Our goal is to provide a platform which is an order of magnitude more efficient than commodity servers based on the highly integrated architecture of Blue Gene, IBM's supercomputer.
