Silicon Millimeter-Wave Research

About this project

Silicon Millimeter-Wave ResearchIBM Research is exploring the millimeter-wave (mmWave) application space in terms of integrated circuit design, package development, antenna development, channel sounding, and system demonstration.
In general, our goal is to apply IBM’s advanced silicon technologies to the mmWave band, which, if successful, would reduce the system cost through silicon’s economies of scale, and thereby open up the mmWave application space to the mass market.

On this site, you can find out more information on IBM’s 60-GHz work, 60-GHz applications, publications, who we are, other mmWave bands, and general mmWave links.
