About P=ac2
|
Future CMOS lithography nodes will provide designers with more transistors, but also introduce new challenges in management of design complexity, power, cooling, variability, and errors. These factors pose significant challenges to resilient system design, and require unprecedented collaboration across system layers. P=ac2 is an inter-disciplinary conference bridging the fields of circuits, computer architecture, compilers, and systems, and this year's conference will emphasize system resilience. The P=ac2 conference is an ideal opportunity for IBMers, academic researchers, and IBM customers to showcase their ideas and problems before a large cross-section of IBM, including research and product divisions, both engineers and executives. Cross-pollination amongst this mixture of people and problems is our best chance of meeting the power, performance, and reliability goals of the computer industry.
