Services speakers take center stage

In 2007, the Services Research Department at IBM Research launched the Services Research Seminar Series (SRSS) -- a series designed to showcase strong technical work in services research both within and outside of IBM.
Since its beginning, SRSS has hosted more than a dozen leaders and subject matter experts in the field of services research, including faculty from among the nation’s top universities and distinguished practitioners.
The Mission
The Services Research Seminar Series aims to increase awareness and collaboration in the many different areas of service research including:
- Service theory
- Service management and marketing
- Service engineering and design
- Service operations
- Behavioral approach to services
- Business modeling
- Business services
- IT services
- SSME initiative
- Service industries
