Hotels - Westchester

Since finding suitable short term housing in the Westchester area can be a daunting task, a housing program for 2009 has been implemented. All interns working at our Hawthorne and Yorktown sites will be offered the option to stay at Extended Stay America at no cost to them for up to 12 weeks. We make the reservations, we pay the bill. What could be simpler? If you decide to participate in this program, your $3,200 housing stipend and $1,250 high cost adder will be applied directly to the Extended Stay Program.

Each single occupancy room has a bed, a desk, chair, a dresser, a full bath, and a kitchen area. The hotel is less than three miles from the Hawthorne Lab and fifteen miles from the Yorktown facility. Courtesy shuttles will be provided from the hotel to each of the labs in the morning and returning to the hotel at the end of the business day (another cost savings for our interns!).
